The Universal Access under the leadership of Commissioner Patrick Honnah held a two-day “Pause and Reflect” retreat, bringing together staff across sections for discussions on where the department stands, what’s working, and what needs to change.
The retreat focused on three core questions: What should we start doing? What should we stop doing? And what should we continue doing? These discussions opened the floor for team members to speak up on productivity, internal coordination, and the overall direction of the department.
Feedback from every session was captured and is expected to shape the department’s strategy as we advance. Key support staff from Human Resources, along with the Comptroller of the LTA, also joined the retreat to share their perspectives on structural and financial matters that directly impact the department’s performance.
At the closing of the retreat, Chairperson-designate Clarence Massaquoi was in attendance and used the moment to commend staff. He encouraged everyone within the entity to maintain the spirit of collaboration and keep prioritizing teamwork
