Connectivity Boost for Rural Liberia!

The Universal Access Fund’s Rural Telephony Program has installed a new communications tower in Vahun, Lofa County, improving mobile coverage for the community.

Project Coordinator James Lynch Momo says more towers are coming soon to Rivercess and Sinoe counties—part of a plan to build 15 additional towers nationwide and reduce Liberia’s digital divide.

Rural schools will also receive Starlink satellite kits, bringing high-speed internet and enabling smart classrooms for students.

These investments mark a strong step toward greater connectivity, better education, and ensuring no community is left behind.
