Assessment Tour Hits Multiple Counties: Sayeh-Grand Bassa, Velehmyeh-Bong, Mecca-Bomi, Mano Gorduah-Cape Mount, Gbarnga-Gbokoita-Gbarpolu, and Division 34B-Firestone Margibi

To transform and enhance connectivity, the Universal Access Fund (UAF) recently conducted an assessment tour in six counties nationwide to evaluate telecommunications infrastructures.

The tour, led by Honorable Patrick Honnah, Acting Commissioner for Consumer, Public Affairs and Universal Access Fund, alongside Minister for Post and Telecommunications Honorable Sekou M. Kromah and other distinguished telecommunications officials, aimed to ensure that towers built by the UAF in underserved and unserved areas met the highest standards of structural values and accessibility.

From Grand Bassa to Gbarpolu, the tour stretched across six locations, where the team engaged with local leaders and communities to gather invaluable insights.

This participatory approach underscores our unwavering commitment to connecting Liberians and addressing challenges that hinder connectivity.

The team did not only assess the physical conditions of these towers but also laid the groundwork for enhancing the reliability of Liberia’s telecommunications network.

At the same time, they committed to prioritizing feedback from residents, particularly the maintenance needs, which sets the stage for impactful improvements.

Commissioner Honnah described the assessment as a key moment in UAF’s mission to ensure every Liberian has access to efficient telecommunication services.
